When a designer dreams up their perfect client, they never expect to meet them in the real world! But we were lucky enough to cross paths with this homeowner and the entire project was a delight! The homeowner had a beautiful formal living room that needed some attention. She was envisioning a living space that was cozy and comfortable...a place she could read and relax by the fire every evening. To that end, we layered earthy accents, including artisan pottery, marble accent trays, and mixed metals, which included gold accents to warm up the aesthetic. We layered natural fiber and textural pillows, as well as accents of faux fur to give this homeowner a warm, wintery space that she can enjoy at the end of a long day. We envision her enjoying her evenings with a crackling fire, sipping on a great cab, while soft music plays in the background. By setting the stage with neutral focal pieces and accents, this delightful living room will easily transition as the seasons change! As an added feature, our principal designer Stephanie Park created a custom art piece that hangs over the beautiful black console table.
